The history of our kennel

Our first Toller was Collier's Ontario's Good Luck (Lucky), who arrived in The Netherlands in 1988 from Ontario, Canada. We were so enthusiastic about Lucky that we wanted to find him a bitch. This was Ardunacres Winnie of the West, who joined our pack a few months later. These two Tollers are the founding dogs of our kennel, 'Van de Echtinger Grift'.

Since 19 May 1989 the name of the kennel Van de Echtinger Grift has been officially registered with the F.C.I. (Fédération Cynologique Internationale) and the Dutch Kennel Club (Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied) under number 27967.

Lucky Winnie
Lucky and Winnie's first litter was born on 21 November 1989. This was also the first Toller litter in Western Europe.
